Our Mission

Congregation Ahavas Achim strives to be the religious, spiritual and cultural home for the Jewish community of Newburyport, MA, and nearby towns and cities in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

As a nondenominational synagogue, we offer egalitarian worship services and a Hebrew School.

Congregation Ahavas Achim welcomes the participation of interfaith families and people of all races, color, national origin, abilities, and sexual orientation or identity, fostering the practice of Jewish traditions through acts of charity (tzedakah), loving kindness (chesed), and cultural and educational programming for all ages.
